The digital printing conference started today and the keynote speaker was Joe Theisman. It's been a while since I've heard an ex-pro speak and it's always entertaining hearing the stories and the lessons they try to relate by telling them. Like anything, some of what they say always resonates in some fashion with your current situation. From a business perspective it has been a good trip so far and I'd say it has been successful, anything else that happens is a bonus.
From a training perspective I was able to get out for a 50 minute speed swim workout between when the seminars ended and cocktails and dinner began. I had a good swim, I was really pushing myself and my muscles really felt those missed workouts from letting the tattoo heal. Because there was no lines on the bottom of the pool, and it was odd shaped, a few times I almost hit the wall. It didn't help that I was getting tired.
Speed swim - 50:39 /2300 meters
