I woke up groggy this morning. I guess I had one to many beers last night and my weekend diet wasn't exactly the best, especially yesterday's KFC for dinner. Today is a new day, my philosophy is that if I don't take care of myself for a few days, then I only have to take care of myself for a few days to get back to baseline.

I was tired when I got home. I ate and fell a sleep on the sofa. It was a deep sleep. The kind where it hurts to even open your eyes if you wanted to. I felt better afterwards. I decided to move my swim workout from tonight until tomorrow. It's weird not having to train strictly. I keep telling myself to relax and enjoy. I will say my legs feel stronger than they ever have. They feel like they did when I was in my 20's. I used todays recovery day to learn how to use my new Garmin watch.
