In order to take Saturday's off from training, Friday is my long run and a bike. It is a tough thing to do, especially with it getting dark outside before 5 pm. I decided just to do the run today and ride my bike outside tomorrow. The fact of the matter is that I wasn't looking forward to a 90 minute ride inside watching TV and this is the off season so "juggling" and "missing" workouts, I'm told, is okay.
I did my long run tonight and focused on leg turnover. I also figured out how to set up the right displays on my new watch and found out that when I go over my maximum heart rate the light comes on, which is great because I can't hear the beeping with my iPod turned on. I'm still trying to get my diet under control. Although I'm not drinking anywhere as much beer, I'm craving chocolates and sweets and carbs. I'm having lots of sugar induced naps.
