After a 16 year layoff from Triathlons, in 2007 at 41 yrs old, I got back into shape and lost 50lbs. In 2009 qualified for Clearwater, 2010 qualified for Kona, 2011 ITU World Championships & Mark Allen Elite Team. In Dec 2012 I was hospitalized for blood clots. In 2014 I did my 12th and final Ironman and decided to pursue every dream and do nothing I don't want to do.

That is absolutely bloody amazing! Congratulations!
Two things:
[1] Get rip-roaring pissed now, 'cause you won't be able to until after Kona.
[2] You've got a trend to keep up: will you aim to do Kona in 9hrs? :D
That's so awesome!
BRAVO!! Please drink some fine scotch and do the humpty dance for me....then go kick ass on the big island!!
Holy shit! Amazing! I actually got goosebumps when I read this! Way to go!! TRAINING PAYNE IS KONA BOUND! WOOHOO!!
I'm so stoked for you and green with envy at the same time - stoked, happy, overwhelmed, delerious are the overiding emotions though. Well done buddy, you deserved it and Kona deserves you.
You thought China was full of uptight athletes not enjoying themselves - well Kona is gonna be 10 times worse and I can't think of a better ambassador of the "FUN sport of triathlon" going there and mixing it up a bit.
Remember the hard work is in the qualifying. You've nothing to prove there so ENJOY! YIPPY indeed!
Woooohooooo!
Huge congrats!
C, thanks!!!. Number one - check, Number two - nope. haha.

S, THANKS. Any time I can make you jealous, is a good day for me. haha. I can hardly wait until next year, it will be your turn and I'll get to re-live it all through you. Thanks again.
