It was raining hard, so I decided to hang out with Rednecks...

Last night was another late night and I didn't get to bed until the wee hours of the morning. The original plan was that I was going to get up at 6 am and ride my bike for just over 6 hours to Minto, where there is a redneck festival, and the family would drive up there and meet me. Then we would all hang out at the festival.

Well...getting up for 6 am was not possible considering I got to bed at 5 am. Then when I did wake up at around 11 am, I was going to go for a ride, but Alice had a "bad" feeling and said I shouldn't. She normally doesn't say that sort of stuff, so I took it as a "omen".

As it turned out, I decided to drive with them to the festival and not do my long bike ride. It is a good thing I didn't ride because it rained almost the entire afternoon and it rained HARD. If I did ride my bike, I'm sure I would have gotten hit by a car because it would have been very difficult for someone to see me.

The festival was really fun even though there was not a lot of people there due to the rain. They typically get around 3000 people, but they only had around 500. But of those 500, most were REAL rednecks. The festival ended up shutting down early because of the rain and cold.
