Friday has arrived, yoo hoo!!! We are off to Winnipeg for our Niece Jamie's Wedding, and for the first time ever, the kids are staying home alone for the weekend. I sure they are going to have fun. At minimum it is going to be a memorable experience. It's not like it we should worry, Alyssa is a young adult, but you never know. Of course I told her no parties, take care of your little brother and make sure the house is clean when we get home. Reid couldn't wait to get rid of us, every 20 minutes he was asking if we were leaving yet. We got to Winnipeg by 8 pm and at the airport ran into my cousins Jason and Lori and his wife Sally and son Shea. It was great to see Jason, I remember about 20 years ago, when I was training for Ironman Canada, Jason and I swam across lake Winnipeg from Lester Beach to Grand Beach and my Uncle Rick watching in the boat. Jason was probably only 12 or 13 years old and I was around 20 - 21 years old.
The rest of the evening was a nice dinner with my parents at Bailey's and then back to their house for some nice conversation. Alice and I ended up staying up until around 4:30 am.
