I'm glad today is over...

For some time I've been preparing for today's semi-annual sales meeting. There was a lot things we needed to cover and it makes for a full day. By the end of the day I'm tired. When I got home, I ate, had some family time and felt like cracking a beer and having some cocktails, but decided to go for a tempo run instead. If I wasn't going to Winnipeg for a wedding this weekend I would have definitely let loose tonight. Although, running is like a drug, very euphoric. Once I got over the fact that my GPS watch battery was dead, I pushed myself out the door without it. Quickly I started to get into a rhythm and then into the "zone". It was like I was floating above the road. The music playing, the cool fresh air and a nice pace. Life couldn't be better. Afterwards I went to the Y and did weights. By the time I got home I was zen like tired. I'm actually looking forward to go to bed so tomorrow will come quicker, as I'm looking forward to going to Winnipeg and having some fun with Family and friends.

Tempo Run - 41:25 / 5.15 miles / 8:02 pace (HR unknown)
Weights -35
