A beautifully wasted day...

Last night we played some pool, watched UFC and had some cocktails and more cocktails and more cocktails and then cigars and then more cocktails.

Today I paid the price. I got up at 11:00 am to go coach Reid's hockey team and then when I got home I went straight to bed. At the game I couldn't even think straight. My head was hurting, my mouth was dry and I just wanted to get through it and go home.

I slept until 5 pm and then barbaqued some hot dogs. Alice had a craving for hot dogs. Afterwards, reluctantly, I went for my 90 minute long run. I was not feeling good, for most of the run I had a side stitch, the blister on my foot was starting to bother me, I was burping up hot dogs and I had dry mouth. I really wasn't mentally enjoying the run. On a positive note, my chest was not bothering me as much as the last run.

I ended up running 10.5 miles at an 8:31 pace. After the run I was stretching and still felt a little woozy from last night. Partying feels so good at the time but then the next day you pay for it. And what's worse is that it was warm and sunny out all day and I slept through it.
