Today was a travel day. We left Orlando at 1 pm, flew to Buffalo and then drove to Burlington. Unfortunately the line up at the border was pretty long and when I got to the customs officer all he wanted to talk about was my triathlon. No wonder the line ups were so long, the guy was lonely.
The legs are feeling a little better, I probably could jog a bit if I wanted to. I also started eating better today. For the past week all I've been doing is eating in order to carbo load, then after the race I ate some more, now I don't even want to look at food.
Once we got home, I unpacked the bike, put it back together and took it for a test ride. Everything worked fine, nothing got broken in transport.
I'm feeling good and am actually looking forward to the Ironman training. I just checked my email and the coaching staff at Mark Allen Online suggested I start right away. No rest for the wicked!!!
