I need to take it easy...

I had to get up early this morning to meet my brother in-law at the Waterloo airport. He is a pilot for a wealthy family and captains their private jet.

He flew in from Florida and was dropping off some people. Because we are visiting him and my sister over Christmas and I wanted to do some bike riding, he offered to take my bike back with him. My sweet bike got a sweet ride!

Other than that, I was tired today. Less than 6 hours sleep last night. I had to stay up to come down from my hockey game and to ice my sore butt muscle. This morning it felt much better and is night and day from last night. The power of ice is amazing.

I was coughing and sneezing all day. Plus I now have a cold sore. It is all my fault. I just haven't given myself enough time to recover from my tonsils being removed. I decided that from today on, I'm going to train lightly, just enough to keep my muscle strength up, until I get 100%.

My body keeps telling me I need to rest. After I ate dinner, I fell asleep for 2 hours. My body has been telling me something for the last month and it's time to start listening.

Yeah...I know...I just want it to end. I'm my own worst enemy.
