A 2 hour 20 minute ride used to be for weekends, now it's just a Monday night ride...


I had a terrible sleep last night. It took me 2 hours to fall asleep. I didn't start sleeping until 1:30 am. Needless to say I was a little irritable today. I'm the type of person that really needs my sleep and I think having a 3 hour nap yesterday afternoon through off my whole sleep routine.

After dinner I had a 2 hour and 20 minute, medium intensity, bike ride. I ended up doing around 72 km and averaged 30.4 km per hour. It was nice out, around 27 C, there was also a 25 kph wind. Overall the ride went well, I'm surprised the average wasn't higher because it felt like I was going faster for most of the ride. Near the end of the ride my neck was hurting me from being in the aero position for so long.

My chest is improving a little, but I figured I'll try weights tomorrow instead of doing them today, plus I ran out of time, as the YMCA closes at 9:30 pm.
